Just read your post to a lady on All Dogs Go To Heaven and decided to look at your page. I am a retired Lead Library Technician for the Army and still read alot when I can. I was in tears just looking at your web page. I have always had dogs and right now we have 8 dogs, all rescues. We live out in the country on 5 cattle fenced acres. Some were puppies thrown out at dumpsters near us and some older dogs who were thrown out because of who knows what. One of our rescues was Kady, who was a Lab/Chow cross. We have had a lot of wonderful dogs, but Kady was so special. We had to let her cross over after she became violently ill and we found out it was diabetes. We didn’t want to let her cross, but in the end it was best for her. She has come to me several times on my computer. She is part of my screensaver and for many months it would stop on her picture. It started out of the blue and never stopped on the other dogs. I felt she was talking to me. I will close and say God bless you.
Hi Mariam,
I am so sorry for your loss, and I appreciate you letting me know about the contacts from your dog. I believe we can help others to recognize these contacts by sharing them.
You know I “get it” about how hard it is to let go of our animals, even when they are suffering and we know it’s the right thing. I do believe that those of us who get these blessings of contact are so fortunate. I wonder if everyone gets them but most people don’t even know they have, or if our animals are older souls with the skills to do it.
I also had contact through my computer from Zeak–on two different occasions. Once I was typing something totally unrelated when he popped into my head. I looked at what I was typing and the word “soul” was inserted into the middle of a sentence! It wasn’t a typo–it was an extra word that just appeared there.
Another time, I was doing something unrelated, and a picture of him printed when I had not been anywhere near his picture folder for weeks, and I had clicked to print a completely different file from a folder near the other end of the list.
Please accept my thanks for your contribution to the cause of letting people know their animals do go on and are around them. I am going to compose a list of different kind of contacts to put on the website, and yours will be included.
With love,
Margo, Lakota, and The Zeakie Dog

God bless you for your rescue work. It is truly the work of angels here on earth. Thank you for writing!
